All God’s Children, a show presented by the Tupelo Studio Painters, is on exhibit at the Kirkwood United Church of Christ through November 5, 2011. The show includes Celeste’s paintings, Twilight Talk and Round I.
The Tupelo Studio Painters is a loosely organized group Celeste has brought together to paint people from life. Commenting on the group, Celeste has stated: “The concept grew out of the desire to pool our resources to paint from life on a regular and independent basis. Our group experience has grown into a creative, supportive environment, wherein we are free to explore and learn together and from one another. This show, All God’s Children, celebrates people, the primary focus of our artistic experience with one another. We invite you to join us in seeing some of the people that have engaged our imaginations as we have traveled this path together.”
Meet the Artists and the reception and sale on November 5 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Location: Kirkwood United Church of Christ, 2033 Hosea L. Williams Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30317. The show is open through November 5 on Sundays from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
